We value your membership! We hope you will renew your membership for another year and continue to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in San Francisco. Membership is open to all graduates who hold an associate, baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college, community college, or university. In principle and practice, AAUW seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

Membership Dues

Dues are paid on an annual basis. The AAUW year runs from July 1 to June 30. Ideally, renewals should be completed by June 30. Membership dues have three components: AAUW national, AAUW California, and AAUW San Francisco. The total annual dues for 2022-2023 are:

• $93 for Regular Members
• $28.81 for Student Affiliate Members
• $21 for Paid Life Members or Members At Large (have paid national dues only)
• FREE for Honorary Life Members (AAUW members for 50+ years)
• $1 for Dual Members with AAUW-SF as their secondary branch, and a primary branch in California ($21 if primary branch is outside California)

Renewing Online

The preferred way is to renew your membership online on the Community Hub (the new AAUW portal). Follow the link below. You will be able to enter your renewal information and pay by credit card. Be sure to enter information for “AAUW Affiliates” you want to join in addition to national AAUW: include San Francisco, Inc. as the branch affiliate and AAUW California as the state affiliate. Otherwise, you will only renew your national membership, but not for the branch or state.
